CIFG Assurance North America, Inc. and Assured Guaranty Corp. have begun soliciting consents for the transfer through novation of bond insurance policies insuring U.S. municipal and infrastructure bonds that are currently guaranteed by CIFG and reinsured by Assured. There can be no assurance as to whether any particular policy will be novated or when any particular novation will occur.
